Le DVD live de Down, c'est pour super bientot !

Après avoir été retardé maintes fois, le double CD+DVD live de Down devrait enfin arriver ce mois-ci. Et je vais sans doute devoir en acheter 4 exemplaires tellement je vais les user... J'en ai déjà entendu la partie audio, et j'en ai les poils qui sont toujours dressés...

Toi aussi apprends à jouer de la batterie... ou pas.

Bon, je suis très fan de Metallica, et j'aime pas qu'on se moque, mais là quand même. Quand on pense à "batteur bien mais pas top", le nom de Lars Ulrich vient assez vite dans la conversation. Bon, c'est pas le pire, mais il a tendance à être un peu euh... disons qu'il manque un peu de finesse dans son jeu, et que parfois, en concert, il n'est pas très constant... Mais bon, ça n'empêche pas Metallica d'être le plus grand groupe de l'univers hein, c'est juste que faire un concours pour gagner une leçon de batterie prodiguée par Lars, c'est un peu comme si Kirk Hammett donnait des cours de chant, ou Chris Barnes des cours de coiffure, ou VinZ une solution miracle anti-chute de cheveux...

Rob Zombie de retour derrière la caméra !

Oui, c'est l'affiche du prochain film (en pré-prod) de Rob Zombie, et je ne désespère pas de le voir réitérer l'exploit de son phénoménal The Devil's Rejects. ça s'appelle donc The Lords Of Salem, et ça raconte une histoire de sorcières vieilles de 300 ans venant terroriser les habitants de Salem. Et si Rob Zombie continue d'adapter les titres de ses chansons en film, je me réjouis de voir Welcome To Planet Motherfucker !

D'ici peu devrait sortir le nouveau clip de Danko Jones, Had Enough, qui se veut une prequel du clip de Full Of Regrets sorti il y a quelques mois. Et la guest star de ce clip n'est autre que Ralph "Daniel FUCKING San" Macchio !! Un petit bout de making of en attendant :

Sorti de nulle part avec un clip pas très bien fait, limite ridicule avec ses fusils à la con accrochés au mur et sa post synchro loupée, Deliver Us From Evil parvient au moins à me convaincre musicalement. C'est déjà ça.

Bon, le clip est d'une banalité affligeante, et le style pratiqué par le groupe aussi, puisqu'ils se situent dans la droite lignée d'un Killswitch Engage ou de All That Remains. Rien de neuf, certes, mais qu'est ce que c'est BON !!! Et quand c'est bon, y a pas besoin de justifier, enjoy...

Top Album 2010 : Dernière ligne droite !

Eh oui, on y est déjà, dans trois mois, la seule et vraie raison d'être de ce blog sera là, et on pourra tous y aller de nos tops respectifs et s'engueuler dans la joie et la bonne humeur afin de savoir qui a raison (sauf qu'en fait, c'est moi qui ai raison).
